Professor Habibah A Wahab is currently the Dean of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia and Chair of Pharmacy Deans’ Council, under Ministry of Higher Education. Currently, she also serves as a member of Pharmacy Board of Malaysia and has recently been elected as Vice President 1, Malaysian Pharmacists Society.

Habibah obtained her degree in pharmacy and postgraduate degrees in pharmaceutical technology, respectively, from Liverpool John Moore University and King’s College London. As an active researcher with over 100 publications in ISI indexed journals, Habibah had also been appointed as Visiting Professor and Lecturer in many universities including University of Chulalongkorn, Thailand, and Osaka University, Japan. Administratively, Habibah was seconded to Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation two times, first in 2007 as Director and in 2012 as the Director-General of Malaysian Institute of Pharmaceuticals and Nutraceuticals, MOSTI. In 2014, Habibah, became the first non-American and non-European appointed as an Associate Editor for Journal of Chemical Information and Modeling by American Chemical Society. She is also the Chairman of USM Koop Ltd, a corporative which operates among others the first university based community pharmacy in Malaysia.
