Researcher of Nanomol group at the Networking Center for Biomedical Research in the thematic area of Bioengineering, Biomaterials and Nanomedicine (CIBER-BBN), at the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (ICMAB) of CSIC.
PhD in Physics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain, with ample expertise in the area of nanotechnology, among others in the design, synthesis and characterization of different nanovesicle systems for bio-medical applications in the diagnostic and therapeutic field. International experience at the Department of Bionanoscience of TU Delft (The Netherlands), and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (USA).
In the frame of the Micro4Nano project, Dr. Köber will be involved in the supervision of early-career scientists for the development of multifunctional nanocarriers for two-photon microscopy and drug delivery.
